I could reproduce the bug on openSUSE Leap 42.3 when the package xf86-video-intel was NOT installed (which seems to be the new standard for openSUSE Leap 42.3). I guess the generic modesetting driver is used instead, therefore I'm not sure if this still a LibreOffice issue or a kernel issue
