OK, then could you confirm that the Tumbleweed kernel you tested before can work well on Leap system? You can just install the kernel on top of Leap user-space. Also, could you try the update kernel for Leap (4.1.8-based) from OBS Kernel:openSUSE-42.1 repo, too? Thanks.
