Did you have Settings->Privacy->Location services turned on when testing?
Because not turning this on and get no location service should be expected
behavior in version 2.5.7. (but not in 2.5.6)

What I did was 1. turn on location privacy setting and then reboot, then
location feature works right after booting. 2. turn off location privacy
setting then reboot, location feature does not work after boot, then turn on
location setting then location feature starts working right away.

I can replicate this bug with version 2.5.6 but not with 2.5.7. Does your
where-am-i demo still returns nothing after boot with version 2.5.7?
