On SUSE, it's /lib/modules/*

Usually /boot.  With the same suffix as vmlinuz and initrd.

You don't need but vmlinuz and initrd only for booting.  Other files are
relevant for development or other purposes.

It might work without it, maybe dracut doesn't require it unlike the old
mkinitrd script.  Just give it a try.
