I feel sorry to hear this. I would still check the obvious things: Fan(s) still rotating? Enough power connected to the gfx card? I believe you wrote that you have also issues with nouveau driver. I'm not sure which ones, but al least 3D, libva and VDPAU can be disabled or switched to the software variant respectively. Which then raises the CPU load of course (and/or makes 3D rendering slower).
