Hmm...latest official updates definitely do not solve it for me. I reinstalled kernel-desktop and ucode-intel just to be sure. How can I determine whether the patches have actually made it into the official updates? This bug is very disruptive for my workflow and I don't want to wait around for an update if it's actually a different issue.
