quick and dirty: i have another machine on that lan where this leap machine
resides.

i try to ping it all the time to its ipv4 address.
during suspend (cpu fan completely off) it doesnt ping reply.

when keypress, cpufan spins up and stays spinning slowly.
still no ping reply

during this time i try to ssh connect or even low-level telnet connect to
tcp/22, they all time out. no connection.

only when the machine again spins up the cpu fan completely and the pixels wake
up again as well, does the ping get replied and can the machine connect to the
tcp/22

does this tell anything? i think the wakeup is seriously messed up. this
machine is not able to do useful work at all until that minute has passed and
until it *really* did wake up to the fullest extent (whatever this means as i
am trying to describe what i am witnessing here).
