The nut package has a built-in conflict against apcupsd: rpm -q --conflicts nut apcupsd However, there are no file or 'provides' conflicts I can see. All I could find was an old one mentioning /etc/init.d/ups-monitor, which none of the two packages has anymore. The respective systemd services etc seem properly personalized. The conflict should get removed from the package metadata.... (filed against Leap 42.3, but also true for Tumbleweed)
