I was looking for an Xserver log file with the error condition you've reported with a matching 'dmesg' output. Kernel log and Xserver log have matching time stamps so one can see if anything happened at the same time the backtraces happened. I did not see anything in the dmesg output of comment #10. I will try to reproduce the issue - I do not have a Cap Verde GPU however, only Oland.
