The reason was that noveau did not support to play sound via DisplayPort...
seems that works not and the Nvidia implementation is buggy, for example I need
to plug/unplug it after resuming or everytime the screen switched to powersave
mode or otherwise I can't hear sound playing anymore... but thats a differnet
issue..

I switched back to the G06 drivers I'll let you know if it came back from
suspend tomorrow. Thanks for the help so far.
