Many thanks Frank for this excellent description. I can confirm a similar behaviour. My use case based on your description structure: *steps to reproduce* (1) log in user1 with 'Desktop Session: Plasma (Wayland)' (2) chose 'switch user' in user1 session (3) log in user2 with 'Desktop Session: Plasma (Wayland)' (4) chose "log off" (abmelden) in user2 session *expected behaviour* log off user2, prompt for user1's password is displayed, user1's password can be typed, session of user1 can be continued *observed behaviour* log off user2, prompt for user1's password is displayed, user1's password CANNOT be typed, no mouse click is accepted, session of user1 CANNOT be continued. *notes* (1) Bug reproducible 100% with Desktop Session Plasma (Wayland) (2) Bug NOT reproducible with Desktop Session Plasma (X11) *environment* Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20220617 KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.95.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.18.4-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 4 AMD A8-7650K Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G Memory: 14.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD KAVERI
