I have the same problem in rawhide/xfce. I am using Danish (DK).

Every time I reboot both 'language' and 'keyboard' reset to US. I can change
with YaST, and keyboard setting works for the session but not after reboot.
Changing language setting require a new login, I tink  (?) , but after enw
login settings are not applied.

After a new login YaSt language and keyboard settings display Danish/DK. Also
the relevant configuration files say so.  But it seems that they are not
used/read as expected.

YaST writes, but to the wrong place or *something* does not read what Yast
wrote.


Thanks Buddha, that SuSE's default language and keyboard is not Tibetan! :-)
