Comment # 5 on bug 1222583 from Michael Behrens

Hello,

just a moment ago I tried a fresh installation from 
  openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-Snapshot20240417-Media.iso
on hardware as well as a 'zypper dupped' virtuelbox testsystem installed
freshly two weeks ago: the MATE panel is still broken out of the box.

While "Advanced MATE menu" and "Sticky Notes" plugins are working, "Show
Desktop", "Clock", "Window List", "Notification Area", and "Workspace Switcher"
are quitting unexpectedly, each with its own error window, when logging in to
MATE Desktop. Pushing the "Reload" button just produces a new error windows.

Additional error window displayed:  "The panel encountered a problem while
loading "GvcAppletFactory::GvcApplet.".
