Well on openSUSE version upgrades are possible to some extent for non system
packages. This update here also was not just for the fun of it, but to fix an
issue with libgcrypt found in bug 1117355.

We're sorry that you experience problems with this, maybe our package
maintainer was not aware of the major changes that are introduced with this
update.
