I was just hit with subtle bug with Yast -- for a long time I couldn't install VirtualBox because as the last step it compiles kernel module and it failed and failed all over again. I checked, rechecked, if I had kernel sources and devel. I had. Today I rechecked them once again -- what checking versions tab revealed? Yast installed kernel rpm in version as in install CD and all others packages (like -sources and -kernel) in the latest available versions. It does not make sense, -devel package is counterpart of the "main" package and the versions should match.
