I'd propose to distinguish whether the default file system snapshot is
read-only or not.

My reasoning is that - besides from potentially confusing overlay numbers - a
snapshot of a read-only file system would just create an identical copy anyway.
The default subvolume could directly be set to the snapshot given to the
`rollback` command instead.
