I just tried to verify (rpm --checksig) some package from the test update repo e.g. <http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/42.1-test/x86_64/kernel-default-4.1.24-15.1.x86_64.rpm> and rpm told me that I was missing some key, I retrieved that key from the keyservers first via gpg and the key had expired last year already. Weird.
