In OpenStack-Ansible we use the rootfs tarballs from https://github.com/openSUSE/docker-containers-build as a base for the LXC containers. However, as discussed on https://github.com/openSUSE/docker-containers-build/issues/29 , these tarballs are going to be removed after 42.3 is EOL. We think it would be beneficial to provide a minimal rootfs for openSUSE which can be used for all containers technologies similar to what it is provided from this repository right now.
