I thought we'd cut off those change logs at a reasonable limit; not sure if that was done in the repo meta data or in the RPM itself, and if that maybe changed some time ago. Anyway, I couldn't agree more that there *should* be a limit. If the meta data delivered by libzypp (which are read from the repo which is generated from the RPMs) don't do this, we could simply cut this off in the widget (or, better yet, when reading the data from libzypp). There is just no way to reasonably navigate through that much text in that widget anyway, and it just slows everything down and uses lots of RAM.
