Yes, I hear wxPython version X should only be used with the same wxWidgets version X. However, since wxWidgets 3.0.1 and 3.0.2 received different SONAMES in openSUSE, it is impossible for python-wxWidgets-3_0 to have requested a non-matching wxWidgets. (Again, 2.8 might be in a completely unusable state ;-)
