But just in case that commit Martin mentioned would be helpful, I backported it to plasma5-workspace 5.4.3. This patched version is available at https://build.opensuse.org/package/binaries/home:alarrosa:branches:bnc964548/plasma5-workspace?repository=standard . Dirk, maybe it would be nice if you could install it.
