The xev output doesn't show anything wrong - in the working case the KeyPress
of "y" doesn't arrive.

When doing autologin, the greeter is not started.

To rule out keyboard layout race conditions: Is the keyboard layout configured
for the session (kcmshell5 keyboard) the same as the global X11 configuration
(localectl)?
