Removing the needinfo request. Michael, you can still provide the requested
information for completeness, but I most likely found the cause and fix
upstream.

We have backported security fix 19a9cd607de73947fcfb104682f203ffe4e1f4e5 which
validates server responses more carefully. Unfortunately it has a bug that
makes some valid device information look invalid, reportedly it is reproducible
with tablets. Commit b843fe1c0a6b4dbaae9f364042c6a247249305ef fixes the issue.
I will backport it as well.
