https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=302099#c26 --- Comment #26 from Vojtech Pavlik <vojtech@novell.com> 2007-08-22 14:07:02 MST --- Sorry for not reading the previous comments carefully, I could have avoided the question. The Windows menu key (scancode 0xdd) should emit keycode KEY_COMPOSE (127). The Fn key on ThinkPads (scancode 0xe3) is supposed to emit keycode KEY_WAKEUP (143). So comments #9 and #10 show correct behavior. In comment #11 there is something wrong with the scancode->keycode mapping table in the kernel. There are two possible ways how this could have happened. 1) The atkbd.c driver's default table is wrong and assigns both scancode the same keycode. I doubt this - it has not been touched for a LONG time and it obviously works for Stefan. 2) The 'setkeycodes' program was used to alter the contents of the mapping table. It may have been run manually, it may be run from some script. Stefan, are we running it in any of the startup scripts?
