And additional observation on the version:
20210608T093248~43c04ab2b43

with reference on bug 1185276 (video playback).

This version shows the instability and flickering of picture that makes it
troublesome to use HD channels.
So although it is not the version linked to the segfault problem, it is a
version that shows the problem of bug 1185276. 

Probably that can come handy once the segfault is solved, because the versions
before did work in a very stable way. This one does not any more.
