So I've ran: zypper ar http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/wolfi323:/branches:/KDE:/Frameworks5:/LTS/openSUSE_Leap_42.3/ Frameworks zypper ref -r Frameworks zypper mr -p 90 Frameworks zypper dup reboot I have copied a large file via ssh to a remote machine using Dolphin. As soon as the process starts /usr/bin/plasmashell increases up to 20% CPU usage. If I disable the (spinning) progress icon in the system tray it drops instantly to 2% CPU usage. So, the problem is not solved for me (in Leap 42.2 as well as Leap 42.3).
