Comment # 2 on bug 1232718 from Timoth York

I can replicate the bug on my laptop that has a 120Hz screen. What's
interesting is that I also experience the bug in KDE (Wayland or X11) as well,
so I'm not sure it's a GNOME issue alone. I suspect it's an issue with either
the GPU driver or firmware, since my laptop has the same GPU, and I have
another laptop that has Tumbleweed with an Intel GPU that does not have this
issue, though it's only a 60Hz display. I first noticed it two weeks ago, so it
might have been with the kernel firmware update around snapshot 20241022.
