There are multiple reasons this warning could appear.  The alternatives not
being marked as %ghost is just one of them.  This could also be due to quotes
around the alternatives invocation, no /etc/alternatives at all, wrong files
being symlinked, and I have even seen issues where man files that are
compressed automatically cause the warning.
