This is on NUC12WSHi5 and Tumbleweed 20230103. 15.4 behaves similar. After boot, "inxi -A" reports "driver: snd_hda_intel". Yast sound reports an unconfigired sound card from "Intel cooperation". Choosing "edit" any of the three options fast/normal/extended setup" results in a message that snd-sof-pci-intel-tgl could not be loaded. After that, inxi -A shows that no driver is loaded. Calling "modprobe snd-sof-pci-intel-tgl" gives a kernel message "sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl 0000:00:1f.3: DSP detected with PCI class/subclass/prog-if info 0x040100" and does not load anything. "modprobe snd_hda_intel" however loads the module.
