...Container people, do you know if this VMs-mode of lxc works on our distros?
Are there any known problem, similar to this one being reported? What would be
the best way to diagnose problems?

From what I read, VMs use libvirt and QEMU, is that the case? Are there any
libvirt and QEMU logs that we can look at?
