I cannot copy a text with a mouse left button (without Ctrl-C) in LibreOffice. Only the first letter of the marked text is copied to the clipboard buffer. The text can be correctly copied within LibreOffice, but in to any other application. I have already filed this bug to LibreOffice bugs service (https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113973), but it turned out that for most users the mouse left button copying works well. I also checked it at my work (Gentoo Linux with Gnome), and I did not see this problem. So, I can suppose that this is an OpenSUSE problem (though I remember it since I first used Open/LibreOffice).
