right click / create new / link to application
The application tab does not appear.

Then if you click on OK button you get this error :
"the file or folder :/kio5/newfile-templates/.source/Program.desktop does not
exist"

After browsing internet and found sames problem, I notice that the folder
/usr/share/templates/.source was empty.
I fill it with the content of
"kde-baseapps-libkonq-15.12.60git.20160114T084704~c844731-42.1.x86_64"

But that does not help.

It is not user specific, root and normal user get the same error message.
