Running Leap 42.1 during last year. Upgrade to 42.2 last day with DVD and upgrade options. Switch all repo to 42.2 and upgrade was OK. Check all system and found HDDTEMP daemom not reporting temp in conky. Check with command line report netcat localhost 7634 and get no temp. Check /etc/sysconfig/hddtemp , no change in the file. Still get DEVICE="/dev/sd[bcd]" Change for DEVICE="/dev/sdb" , restart daemon and get the temp as usual for sdb Put back my 3 disks letter and restart daemon, still the same problem. Modify /usr/lib/systemd/system/hddtemp.service as follow, remove $device and replace with /dev/sdb /dev/sdc /dev/sdd. do systemctl daemon-reload , systemctl restart hddtemp. Get all disks temps as usual. Seems to me the service don't start the daemon properly. Excuse my language, french is my mother language. If you need assistance to reproduce the problem let, me know.
