I'm not completely sure that that change is the actual problem though, as we
also have bug#1126615 that's somehow similar, and there hasn't been any change
to the Weather applet's setting page AFAICS.

/usr/lib64/qt5/qml/QtQuick/Controls.2/org.kde.desktop/private/MobileTextActionsToolBar.qml
is actually part of qqc2-desktop-style, so the real problem might be there.
Does it also work with the original kwin5 package if you uninstall
qqc2-desktop-style maybe?
