zypper-in-recommends-mpv.txt
Fresh TW snapshot, minimal server selection.
As shown in the attached logs, zypper in --recommends pkg will select
recommended packages only if the main pkg comes from the oss repo. If pkg comes
from packman the recommended 'youtube-dl' is not selected. The same bug happens
with vlc and its vlc-codecs subpkg, even in SLE12.
My expectation is that --recommends always selects what is recommended, no
matter where pkg comes from.
In this case mpv ist just a _link to OBS, so the resulting mpv.rpm is identical
modulo the codecs (or whatever).
