Could you retry with the kernel in the same repo again?
I updated the code slightly for a better kABI compatibility check.

There is no specific thing we need to check, but just try to use it for normal
usage and verify whether the WiFi works as expected.

If everything looks fine, I'll push the patches to the branch.
Then the fix will be included in the first update kernel that will be released
soon after the GA release, and it won't be included in the GA kernel (or on
installer).
