CURRENT PROBLEM WITH THIS DEVICE:
1. BLUETOOTH DRIVER NOT LOADING CORRECTLY
2. PulseAudio IN GUI MODE GENERATES STATIC NOISE, HISSING SOUND
3. CANNOT START THE DEVICE WITH THE EXTERNAL HDD ON POWER
|
-- I can roughly see that my HDD didn't receive proper control instructions
when the system shut down normally, which results in it being spinning
continually (which it should stop without I/O activities, but it didn't do so).
As the HDD running continually, it seems results in the Uboot to be failing to
scan the drive. Somehow sometime a cold-boot can cut the signal? and put the
HDD to idle hence it stops spinning, and the device can boot normally. Maybe
this is the issue but there is no point for me to manually shut down the HDD
PWR supply just to make a successful reboot. Debian worked totally fine, Ubuntu
totally fine, it only fails when it comes to openSUSE. hence it is clear
something in the drive-control mechanism need to be improved.
