I just did a minimal NET basic-based detailed package selection installation of
20240607 selecting no bootloader and no filesystems to mount other than
/dev/nvme0n1p26 /, and nothing was put in /boot/ to go along with the 6.9.3
kernel in /usr/lib/modules. I chrooted into it and rpm installed longterm
6.6.32 kernel, and all I could find happened was a do_purge_kernels landed in
/boot/, and /usr/lib/modules/6.6.32-2-longterm was populated.
