Despite Bug Report #1096080, it may be necessary to mention in the Leap 15.1 Release Notes that the Linux Kernel version 4.12 doesn't support AMD Ryzen CPUs and APUs very well. Yes, yes, even Leap 15.0 has VEGA 10 and 12 (but not 11) firmware in the kernel-firmware package but, it seems that, currently, the Tumbleweed Kernel is a better choice for stable Ryzen systems. Therefore, possibly, the need to mention this in the Leap 15.1 Release Notes.
