After upgrading from Leap 42.3 the system felt extremely slow, and CPU usage was up to 100% permanently: akonadi_imap_resource was sucking all CPU. (Same issue appeared a while ago on TW) So I stopped akonadi, deleted ~/.local/share/baloo/ and ~/.local/share/akonadi/search_db/ and restarted akonadi. Result: After more than 9h in between the akonadi_imap resource is still busy! Reindexing - see bug 1013687 - fails with the same symptoms
