Since the stable Kernel should be stable (?) I tried to install it. Version kernel-default-4.18.5 from the SUSE stable kernel repository. First of all, I couldn't boot into the system anymore because the software RAID was out of sync and thought that it was a good idead to mark one partition as bad and not boot. After getting access to the machine I repaired the raid (which was another crazy story because the log stated that the of two NVMEs one was faulty, but in the end... the "good" one was faulty and the "faulty" one was good.). After syncing the partitions I booted into SUSE with the old kernel and ran mkinitrd for safety, and synced all partitions of the RAID again. Reboot. I tried to boot with the new kernel which resulted in a kernel panic which I can not read in full (just the end which has no good information) because the remote screen has not enough lines and I am out of answer how to change that. Anyway. It looks like i am stuck with the 4.12 kernel and a bug that forces me to loose data and reboot every few days.
