Here's an update. A couple of weeks ago I freshly installed Leap 15.6 and so far, the gpu crashes have disappeared. I'm using the stock kernel, applied all updates etc. uname -a Linux blackhole 6.4.0-150600.23.25-default #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Tue Oct 1 10:54:01 UTC 2024 (ea7c56d) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux glxinfo | grep Mesa client glx vendor string: Mesa Project and SGI OpenGL core profile version string: 4.6 (Core Profile) Mesa 23.3.4 OpenGL version string: 4.6 (Compatibility Profile) Mesa 23.3.4 OpenGL ES profile version string: OpenGL ES 3.2 Mesa 23.3.4 Operating System: openSUSE Leap 15.6 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.11 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0 Qt Version: 5.15.12 Kernel Version: 6.4.0-150600.23.25-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 32 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900K Memory: 31.0 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon Pro W6600 Manufacturer: HP Product Name: HP Z2 Tower G9 Workstation Desktop PC So far, everything works fine and stable, I didn't install any later kernel or Mesa package. For me, the problem seems to be resolved (by moving on to Leap 15.6).
