*Some* mp4-videos from my mobile phone shows a black screen plus plays the
sound, but no image, with vlc and kaffeine. As for my small tests it only
affects the mp4 from my samsung mobile that are older than from June 12, 2017.

Everything worked a few weeks ago with the same system, but meanwhile there
were some updates and of course I have no idea which one changed that...

VLC opens a window with progression bar and plays the sound, but now image
(only black screen). When starting vlc from command line I get:

dragon player only opens the "menu window" but no player window. The command

QTAV QML player and QTAV player plays the video normally. I can also open it
with handbrake and show it in a browser (seamonkey, firefox, chromium)

1. Try to play the mp4 video  with vlc (from packman)

Shows only black screen and plays the sound

Show video image and sound
