When a power surge made my router go offline, my computer (using the wicked networking tool) was disconnected as a result. however, i had to reboot both the router and the computer to get back online. i would have expected that wicked would determine that the computer connection was disconnected and try to reconnect until a connection could be made with the router. I am using wireless with dhcp for the connection.
