I'm afraid we may be unable to reproduce, much less fix this issue. I'll see
whether I can reproduce it with some desktop hardware we have laying around,
but chances are that we'd really need your laptop and docking station to

Could you please try opening an upstream bug? Chances are that the actual
driver developers have a better clue of what may be happening - with a bit of
luck, your description is precise enough to point the upstream developers in
the right direction:
