Well I used the bookware openSuSE13.2 distribution with one DVD containing i586
and x86_64 you can buy at several sources. I just double checked if
yast2-auth-client is on this media:

krienke@bliss:/run/media/krienke/openSUSE-13.2-DVD-Biarch-i586-x8] 1002 > find
. -iname "yast2-auth*.rpm"
./suse/i586/yast2-auth-server-3.1.11-1.1.i586.rpm
./suse/x86_64/yast2-auth-server-3.1.11-1.1.x86_64.rpm

So the client-package has been forgotten in  a sense. But if I can simply add
an additional repos as you wrote then things are just fine.
