Will do so next time I run into this issue.

(Unfortunately, the necessary old system journal entries are gone.  Journal now
starts 2020-10-19 -- no issues so far with software updates via gnome-software.
 Where is the bug when you desperately need it most? ;-))

Let me know if I should provide anything else besides output of `journalctl -u
packagekit.service`.
