Sounds like a duplicate of bug #1175487

Could you try the *latest* emacs 27.1 from repository editors.  You have to
refresh emacs, emacs-x11, and maybe emacs-nox with emacs-info.  Don't to forget
to restart any emacs server daemon before testing
