dmesg log, vbox 5.18 drivers on guest, running vbox 5.20 on host

I recently updated my Tumbleweed guest and discovered that after a reboot I
could no longer access the display manager.
(sddm[952]: segfault at 0 ip 00007f2aed964133 sp 00007ffd2c28f380 error 4 in
libQt5Core.so.5.6.1[7f2aed6a6000+4c9000] also see attached log)

Host is openSUSE 13.2, guest Tumbleweed, virtualbox 5.0.20 on host and 5.0.18
drivers on guest.

I've tried several combinations using the builds in the Virtualization
repository and manually installing the drivers from the virtualbox additions
cd, but the only difference was that vboxvideo.ko segfaulted.

Could this also be possibly related to
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=983927 ? I'm also using nvidia
drivers on the host.
