Filed bug upstream asking Joseph for advice (her removed the glibc libieee.a). >From looking at the x86 backend -mieee-fp is unrelated to libieee.a. libieee.a isn't a static archive but a single object and it doesn't contain any symbols but _LIB_VERSION.
